The Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) for SAVED members
A recent survey was completed by residents of sheltered housing to monitor and evaluate their quality of live, their mental well-being and general out-look. We at SAVED would like conduct our own ‘Well-Being’ (Using the NHS approved Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being scale.) survey to see if our findings concur with their findings. Please can I ask all residents to fill in the survey with some statements about feelings and thoughts; and tick the box that best describes your experience of each over the last 2 weeks. If you prefer to complete a printable version, please click the link below the survey, fill in and return by post to: SAVEDUSAP, 46 Dryleaze Court, Wotton under Edge, Gloucestershire, GL12 7BL.
(The Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being scale was developed to enable the monitoring of mental wellbeing in the general population and the evaluation of projects, programmes and policies which aim to improve mental wellbeing. WEMWBS is a 14 item scale with 5 response categories, summed to provide a single score ranging from 14-70. The items are all worded positively and cover both feeling and functioning aspects of mental wellbeing.)
